How do I join?
Attend any general meeting and visit the membership desk. Our annual dues are $15. by completing and mailing a membership form.
Do I have to be a resident of Duncanville to be a member of DECPTA?
No. We have members from Duncanville and all of our surrounding communities.
DECPTA meetings are at a church. What is it's religious affiliation?
DECPTA is a community wide association, not associated with any particular church or school.
Do I have to be a DECPTA member to participate in it's activities?
No. We invite anyone interested in our organization and the welfare of children to attend our meetings or social events. Members are eligible to vote, and receive newsletters and phone calls about our events.
I am a grandparent raising my grandchild. Do I have to be the parent to be a member of your organization?
No. Our organization is for anyone interested in the welfare of children in our community. We are parents, grandparents, childcare providers, teachers, and friends.
